Download PDFIn this video I plan to explain what active input means and how it functions. For starters you have many different inputs to pick from. Inputs 1 through 28 correspond with the inputs located on your quad converter. They also correspond with the inputs that you would select utilizing the Feniex 4200 Datalink or the Feniex 1 controller as well. Now after programming an input for example you would have to disconnect the light bar and connect it to one of those three functions in order to see it activate. We selected a feature here called activate inputs that allows you to toggle the light bar on and off, directly from the PC. Now, in order for an input to activate, you would have to first disconnect the bar from your PC, connect it to the converter, the 4200 or the F1 controller in order to see it activate. That process can take a bit of time. Instead, after you have selected your input and programmed it based on the pattern and color selection that you want, you can then activate the bar directly from the PC with the tab called activate input. I'll wait for the bar to finish programming. First, once it's programmed, I can then toggle the switch. And now here on my desk, the light bar is activating and it is flashing that selected input. I can toggle through different inputs here to activate those inputs after they have been programmed first. That concludes the video on how to activate inputs using the toggle switch in live mode.
