BEACON AM600

I am the manager of an airport and have used a number of amber beacons, mini-lightbars, full size lightbars, and LED perimeter lights over the years. This is by far the brightest amber beacon that I have ever seen. I installed it on my tractor used for mowing along the runway and it is easily seen out to 1/2 a mile in the daylight! I have yet to use at night but I can only imagine how well it shows then. Also, I love the old-school rotating patterns; for some reason those just seem to grab the eye better than a strobe pattern. Especially for the price, there is absolutely no better option out there. I have a Soundoff Signal nRoads beacon on my fuel tanker truck which is good, but about twice the size (it's huge) and 50% more expensive and I would say is only about 75% as bright. Also, because of the mirroring on the nRoads, it is only intensely bright if viewed at certain angles. The AM600 is blinding at any angle.

Our fire department just purchased two for the back of the engine. These lights are very bright and dependable! I am amazed with the quality and brightness! They are the best beacon on the market!
