Now, what's great about the Quantum product line again, is that it's 5 colors in 1, meaning that the bar itself is capable of producing a single color, dual, Tri, Quad or even Quint capabilities. Regardless of how your bar is shipped, you can always unlock a further level. Now, let's talk about how you do that in this video series. Now, there are 2 ways to unlock your bar, and it's all dependent on if you are a distributor or an end user. Now, what's easy about unlocking your Quantum product line is that if you're a distributor, you don't have to actually take the product out of the box. You can simply use A-P-U-I-D scan that into the software program and unlock its levels. The second way to do that is to plug in the device into the computer directly, and to upgrade it that way. Let me first show you how to unlock by scanning the QR code. I'll grab the box, find the QR code, and scan the QR code directly into the software program. Once the QR code is scanned, you'll notice that this portal pops up. Now it's still red because no device is connected yet I still have communication from the server directly to my device. You'll see the status of the unlock level here on the far right. In this case, this bar is already configured at single color, meaning that the configurator itself only does single color capabilities. Notice, I cannot configure the bar because it is not directly plugged in. I can only upgrade the product. Now, let's say your customer ordered the bar in a dual color configuration, but you had this configured in your inventory as single color. I'll begin by clicking dual color after the software program has been opened. At that point, I'll see the price for dual color capabilities and my payment option. I'll select my payment method and submit payment. Now, at this point, you'll see that the bar is activated in a dual color state, and you've completed the upgrade process via the QR code and scanning it into your computer system. Now, I'll go ahead and upgrade the bar if I have it connected to my computer. The reason this option is necessary is because perhaps when you're configurating your bar in a dual color state, you'll find out that there are some limitations and you realize that you actually wanted a tricolor configuration. At this point, you can still upgrade your bar. I'll simply select the tricolor capability that I want. Portal pops up, it's $39 to upgrade, submit payment, and now my bar has the capability of tricolor configurations. We'll talk about configurating the bar in another video. That concludes upgrading your bar via the QR code while the product is still boxed up, or if it's connected to your computer system.
