How to Program Flood Mode

One of the most important features in a multicolor lighting series is your forward facing takedown lights or Flood Mode. I'm gonna show you how that's programmed using the Interior Light Bar and the Quantum 600 Lights Stick. As our example today, You really only have two options when programming forward Illumination. You have what's called a Takedown, which uses two modules located in different spots of the bar, and you have Forward Flood, which can illuminate multiple modules on your dual color configuration. Let me show you the difference between both of those. Using my Interior Light Bar as my example, it's configured to a single color state, which means when I go to my configuration, I'm able to configure my bar based on whatever illumination desire that I'm looking for. In this case, I'm gonna go with half red, half blue, and forward facing takedowns. In my takedown series, I'm only able to have two modules and I can move that location to any spot in the bar. For now, I'll set it in the center. I'll go onto my next step. I'll choose the input I wish to program. The takedown functionality shows my two modules and my brightness level at 100%. I'll go ahead and program my bar. When I activate live mode, you'll see the two takedowns illuminated in the center. If I do wish to change their location, I have to do it by going back to the first step. I can then click the takedown tab and move takedowns to any other spot. I'll move them to the outer location and go to next and put one take down brightness at 100%, and I'll program my device. When I activate live mode, you'll see the takedowns move to the outside. So let's talk about Flood Mode. If I'm configured in a Dual, Tri, Quad or Quint configuration, I can activate any module, if not all the modules as a, as a forward Flood Light. Lemme show you how that's done on a 600 Light Stick. When I plug in my 600 Lights Stick, I can see it's programmed as a tricolor configuration. I'll go ahead and click on my config Quantum to see what I have available there. I'll see my tricolor options. In this case, if I'm wanting flood, I'd pick white as my third color illumination. Once I've configured my bar, I can go on to the next step. On that next step, I can click my input I wish to program flood as my option and select which modules and what color I wish to illuminate. Once I'm done, I'll go ahead and program my device. When I toggle live mode, I'll see that the entire bar illuminates in a flood configuration. If I don't wish for all the modules to illuminate, I can simply deactivate some modules and program my device again. When I toggle live mode, I can see the two modules in the center deactivated and the outer modules illuminated. You repeat that same process on any Quantum lighting product.
