Download PDFNow when it comes to programming modules, a lot of customers want modules to flash together. Others want them to alternate. I'll show you how you do both options. Now, there are 2 methods of flashing a Q Series light head. There's flashing together & alternating. I'll show you how you program both options. I'll start off by connecting power to my red wire, which is one of the mode wires. I'll notice that they're currently on a triple slow pattern flashing in phase. If I wish to have 'em alternate from one another, I need to set one module to out a phase. To do that, I'll disconnect my blue sink wire and pattern selector wire from one another. I can leave both modules on at the same time. That's not a problem. I'll connect one of the blue wires from one of the modules and connect it to ground for three seconds. I'll wait for it to go to steady red. When it does, it's now on a different phase cycle. However, if you look closely, it defaulted to the pattern number one. Every time you change the phase cycle in a module, it will always default to the previous pattern. So I'll go ahead and repeat that process. On the other module, It defaulted to pattern number one. The reason we do that is because it allows you to reset all the patterns at the same time instead of having a cycle all the way to the end. Now, when I reset the phase cycle of both modules and put it on pattern one, but both on the same phase, lemme repeat the process one more time on another module and put it on a different phase cycle that's now illuminated blue to show me that it's on a different phase cycle from the other module. Now they're synchronized and alternating in two different phases. Every time I tap the pattern selector switch, the module will cycle to the next pattern, showing me them out of phase from one another. Now, another thing to keep in mind is that once I set phase cycling on a specific mode, it does not carry over to the next mode. Currently in this mode, it's alternating from one another. In my next mode, you'll see that they're flashing in phase from one another. So I'd wanna repeat that process if I wish to have them alternating at a phase from one another. That concludes how you program pattern phasing on your Q Series products.
