How to Program Q Serial Directional Patterns

In the event you want a traffic advisor pattern either in the rear of your vehicle or in the side of your vehicle. You have products such as the 400, 600, 800 quantum light sticks. You have the Rocker Panel and you have the Rear Spoiler Mount. But if you do want a traffic advisor using the Q Link module, there's a way to program your light heads to do that. I'm gonna show you that in this video. So if I want to program light heads in a directional pattern, I want to click my zone only view so that I get a better understanding of how those modules are placed. As you can see in this view, I can only use zones 3 through 14 as my directional pattern. I have 10 zones total to pick from, so that can support up to 10 modules. But since I have 6 modules on the bench, I'll use 6 zones to program my directional functions. So since I have 6 modules, I'm gonna program zones 6 through 11 as my directional. I'll start by configuring those modules and their zones. I'll start by connecting my zone programming wire to power. I'll activate the zone, Zone 6 in this example and hover my magnet over to link that module to that zone. Zone 7, 8, 9, Zone 10, and Zone 11. I've now successfully linked every module to their 6 respected zones. Zone 6 through 11. I now select the input I wish to program the pattern arrow directional, the speed fast, the brightness level, and zones 6 through 11. On Input 2, I'll choose another directional pattern, left brightness 100%, Zone 6 through 11. On Input 3, I'll choose a different sequence, but in this case, I'll add some additional color to it. So I'll go center out fast and I'll add every color in this directional sequence. Now that I have my Inputs 1, 2, and 3 configured, left arrow, right arrow center out, I'll go ahead and program my device. Uh, now activate Input 1 and turn on live mode, which shows a right flash pattern using Zone 6 through 11. Input 2 is a left flash pattern using Zones 11 through 6. And Input 3 is a center out pattern displaying all 5 colors. Again, using the module, you have 10 zones to pick from when setting up a directional configuration using any light head that's provided by the Q Series system.
