Download PDFSo, as we've said before, the Q link module gives you 27 programmable inputs. Let's talk about how those are programmed using the Q link software program. So in this example, I'm gonna set 1 module to zone 1, and then I'm gonna program as many possible inputs to that single zone to show you all the tremendous amount of functionality you can do with the Q Link system. I'll begin by connecting Input 28, which is my zone program wire to power. I'll start by clicking my zone tab and I'll select zone 1. I'll hover my magnet over that module to link it to zone 1. Again, when I'm in zone programming, all the modules will turn blue. After I hover the magnet over the module, it'll turn white to signify that it is linked to that zone. In this example, I'm gonna program as many inputs as possible to every conceivable function that I have here on zone 1. I'll start right now. Now that I've programmed these inputs, I'll go ahead and program the device. Now that my inputs 1 through 28 are programmed, I'll activate them and show you just a few of the many functions that are available on the module. Now, of course, activate live mode. I'll remove the zone programming wire Taillight mode blue, steady on cruise mode, flashing all 5 colors in a triple flash turn signal, amber brake pop, red, white, steady burn for illumination, green and amber, flashing blue only flashing red turn signal, and the list goes on and on. You have a light head with 5 available colors, a module with 27 programmable inputs, and your software program that provides you 16 available zones. So it's really up to the creativity of the installer when programming their vehicle using the Q Link system.
